Provolone Bruschetta

INGREDIENTS

16 oz.
Italian bread, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices (about 24 slices total)

garlic cloves, cut in half crosswise
2 (5.29-oz.)
Auricchio Riserva Esclusiva Crema di Provolone Auricchio spreadable cheese
1 1/2 cups
diced tomatoes
1/2 cup
chopped fresh basil
1/4 cup
extra virgin olive oil
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

PREPARATION

Preheat broiler.

Place bread slices on baking sheet and run under broiler for 1 minute, turn and broil 30-45 seconds or until lightly golden. Watch carefully not to burn. Remove from broiler. Gently rub one side of each bread slice with garlic.

Spread equal amounts of the cheese spread evenly over each slice. Top with tomatoes and basil. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with pepper.
