Provolone en Carrozza

slices Auricchio Mild Provolone
12
slices Bread (White Sandwich Bread)
3
Eggs (Beaten)
Salt
Pepper
Plain Breadcrumbs (as needed)
Olive Oil (for frying)
PREPARATION
Place 2 slices of Auricchio Mild Provolone on 1 slice of bread each. Top with remaining slices of bread. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt and pepper. Put bread crumbs in a separate shallow bowl.
Pour the oil into a large skillet and heat over medium heat. Dip the sandwiches into the egg mixture and then in the bread crumbs. Fry sandwiches in oil until golden brown on each side and the cheese has melted.
Cut each sandwich in half and serve hot.
